Surge of waves invade my head,
the sky at Wentworth Falls lake mirrors my unease,
my desire to escape a chattering mind.
I’m mesmerised with an effervescent stillness,
an uncanny pause pulling me inward,
drawing me into a stream of consciousness
lost in vacant space.
